Ebay sellers question, any ebay seller can answer?
Q. Im always buying things and getting bored of them so i want to start selling some of the clothes i have and that sort of thing on ebay. But is there any fees or payments you have to pay when opening an ebay selling account. I assume there would be, just wondering how much or if its free, thanks!

A. 1-listing fees - even if item doesn't sell 2-sales fees, based on final sale price no fee to just open an act - you do need to attach a bank account to your ebay acct - they automatically deduct the fees from your acct around the 20th of the month after you incur the fees - all fees in March would be deducted from your bank acct on 4/20 and you will also need a PAypal acct - pretty much required for buyers to use Paypal - YOU get charged a fee for every payment you receive - the net amount goes into your paypal acct - which also has to be connected to a bank acct, so you can add or withdraw money

As an ebay seller when is the best time to start listing sring clothing?
Q. I am an ebay seller and have a lot of new (nwt) items that I would like to list as a wholesale/resale lot. When is the best time for me to list this lot as to attract buyers who would like to resell the items for the upcoming spring and summer seasons? Looking for input from any ebay sellers. Thanks!

A. It depends, if your supplier can deliver next day and will have the stock then there is no point in getting it early. However if you expect your supplier will run out close to the time demand is high then they would get the stock in a month or so early. Try putting a few items on 30 day listings, it's only a few cents and will help you gauge popularity and when demand starts to grow

What can the seller do when they find out that the buyer cannot close due to credit problems?
Q. My house went under contract at the first part of this month and I was scheduled to close on tomorrow morning. I kept calling my realtor to get the details of the closing. He finally tells me today that the seller is having credit issues and cannot close tomorrow, but will instead need an extension. I am in a dilemna because I cannot close on my new home until this one is sold. What must I do? Can I get out of my contract with my current realtor if this house does not close in a week due to the sellers credit issues?

A. Did your contract with the buyer have a date that closing must occur by? If it does, you can wait until that date passes and then put the house back on the market. You might be able to keep the earnest money also, depending on the contigencies in your contract. This depends on if your contract has a financing contigency. Personally, I wouldn't give them an extension, since, if they have credit problems, those problems will probably not be solved in just a few weeks. You'll be sitting in your same situation for months waiting for closing. Good luck!
