Salmon is an extremely versatile fish and makes any meal an absolute fan favorite. The meat does not have an overwhelming taste so it is enjoyable even for.

What can I make with cooking apples?
Q. I just went to the farmer's market for some produce. I bought some cooking apples, not even realizing they were cooking kind. Just thought they were another variety to eat raw. I have never used cooking apples, and I'm not even that big a fan of cooked apples. I have 8 apples. What can I make with them? I'm looking more for healthier recipes if there is anything. And also would prefer not to use the oven in the summer. Any suggestions?

Put apples into blender; blend on high speed until smooth. Return apples to slow cooker; add spices. Cook on low setting for 1 hour or until mixture reaches desired consistency. For very thick apple butter, remove lid while cooking. Ladle into six sterilized half-pint jars, leaving 1/2-inch headspace. Adjust lids. Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes. Apple butter will keep several… [cont.]
