Dutch receipe with mashed potatoes and spinach?
Q. I am looking for a receipe called Butical ( Spelling ?) this is a Dutch receipe that has mashed potatoes and spinach and Bartwurst. I am looking for all the ingrediants. Can anyone Help?

A. I'm not sure about what you're looking for, as I have no idea if you're looking for spinach with mashed potatoes or if you are looking for something else. From what you tried to spell (and I looked at this for a while! haha) it looks like you're talking about Boerenkool (Kale in English). This is NOT spinach and is mashed together with the potatoes. Here's a recipe for you I took from a Dutch recipe book: Time to prepare: 20-30 mins Serves +/- 4 people 2 Pounds Kale (Boerenkool) 2 Pounds Potatoes Milk Salt Sausage (Bratwurst) 4 tbl spoons butter pepper Cut the potatoes in little pieces Put some water in the pan that will about cover the potato pieces with a little salt. Is the difference between British and Dutch policy the reason present-day Malaysia is better than Indonesia?
Q. According to present-day political situations in both Malaysia and Indonesia, it's not difficult at all to deduce which country is more peaceful and the citizens of which countries have happier lives. What I really wonder is that both nations have identical civilization development - They both are located in the maritime section of Southeast Asia which were first being indianised and then dominated by Islam brought into the regions by Indian trader. But I think the difference between the two in present day is because of the difference in policy during the colonial era. A. The short answer is yes. The British had a plan to exploit the resources fairly, with a mind to self determination, a la Australia, New Zealand, Canada, India... The British could do this as their empire was so large, they couldn't afford for it all to be run from London, so they encouraged and prepared colonies by providing a capitalist environment. Health and wealth are related and the Malaysians have a higher standard of living than most Indonesians, this did not, however, stop communist infiltrators trying to take control of the Malaya Government after the end of WW2. what role did religion play during the dutch settlement in south africa?
Q. when dutch settlers came to south africa, they thought God gave them the right to overpower blacks, indians and asians etc.. what religion did these dutch follow? how else did it help lead up to apartheid?

A. The dutch settlers had absolutely nothing to do with apartheid. The dutch never thought that they had the right to overpower the blacks, Indians, Asians etc. They were trading people who set up a half way stop in SA. In the early days there were not many black people in SA. They migrated south as the dutch went north. The British arrived and the first wars were between the Dutch and the British. Also the French came and the Portuguese. So you can not put the blame of apartheid on the early settles. Remember they were there in the 1600's and apartheid only came in around 1950's onwards (Not sure of the exact date.) That is more than 300 years!!
