From Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. A sale is the pinnacle activity involved in selling products or services in return for money or other compensation. It is an act of completion of a commercial activity. A sale is completed by the seller or the provider of the goods or services to an acquisition or appropriation or request followed by the passing of title (property or ownership) in the item and the application and due settlement of a price, the douche of or any claim upon the item. The purchaser, though a party to the sale, does not execute the sale, only the seller does that. To be precise the sale completes prior to the payment and gives rise to the obligation of payment. If the seller completes the first two above stages (consent and passing ownership) of the sale prior to settlement of the price, the sale is still valid and gives rise to an obligation to pay. Answered by Mike G - Mon Aug 25 22:03:33 2008 What is the difference between a manufacturer warranty and a seller warranty? Q. I am looking to buy a Canon digital camera bundle on eBay, but there's only a seller warranty and not a manufacturer warranty from Canon. I asked the seller what the difference between these two is, but I have yet to receive a reply. Thank you. Asked by Ilya B - Sat Feb 20 12:53:11 2010 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. Huge. Stick with the manufacturers warranty. When a seller offers a sellers warranty, this means that the camera is either a gray market camera (stay away) or they are trying to upsell you with an extended sellers warranty (basically insurance, but does not guarantee that your camera will be repaired by Canon) Answered by fhotoace - Sat Feb 20 13:01:53 2010 How does the seller on ebay know if you received the item?
Q. Let s say someone orders a cd on ebay and purposely asks for a refund and lies saying they never got their package and they really did, they could easily lie about it just to get a free cd and trade the one they got in for money. So how does the seller know if you are honest or not? Or would they just trust their judgement? I guess that s the risk of ordering things offline. Asked by Bill D - Sun May 17 11:31:30 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. A lot of eBay sellers are using USPS delivery confirmation. If purchased through PayPal, it's free with Priority Mail & nearly free ($.18) with Parcel Post. For overseas shipping, many sellers use insurance to protect themselves.
